Successful Inaugural Holiday Dinner!

The 1st annual Strong Native Minds Holiday Dinner was a roaring success! Thanks to the generosity of our many donors, the strong support (and backs!) of our 25 on-site volunteers, and the patronage of our community we were able to provide food for over 150 people, gifts for over 100 children and elders, and give away over 1000 pieces of clothing (coats, boots, hats, gloves, etc.) to help bring a smile (and some warmth) for the holidays.

Our primary goal at Strong Native Minds is to lift up our community, young and old. By providing a warm meal, friendly company, gifts for our children and elders, and a sense of community we are happy to have been able to do that during this event this holiday season. We look forward to repeating this on an annual basis, and creating new events for our community throughout the years to come.

We want to provide our utmost thanks to the following primary sponsors for their incredible support of our Holiday Dinner:

  • Taqueria el Cabrito

  • Adam Deputy

  • Festival Foods

  • Hunger Taskforce

  • Maricela Cuevas Castillo

  • El Local Restaurant

  • Tres Hermanos Restaurant

  • El Cabrito

  • Lopez Bakery

  • Alice Dulceria

We also had amazing support from individual donors as well - donors who provided items for dinner, for giveaways, and for funding!

And finally, thanks to all the support, Strong Native Minds was able to help raise funds for future efforts to support our community.

Strong Native Minds is a Native American Non-profit organization (501(3)c) whose Mission is to empower our youth, embrace the well-being of our elders, and uplift our native voices.
