Ron's Bio
My name is Ron Grieger Jr.

I was born and raised in Milwaukee WI. I am Ojibway from Bad River WI, and I am an enrolled Oneida member from Green Bay WI. I grew up in the native community my whole life, learning and understanding our native ways. As time has gone by, I have noticed we are losing touch with our native culture, forgetting who we are, and how we live as native people. I continue to learn because I want to help our native families that are in need, empower our youth, embrace our voices, and most importantly, staying focused on our elders. I feel if we continue living our lives this way, we are going to lose everything about ourselves as native people.

I STRONGLY feel that our native cultures are in danger! This is extremely important for us to help in any way we can, to keep our native traditions going! I personally think if we continue to ignore this and don’t take any action, we as native people will be forgotten about. That means, NO MORE STORIES TO TELL, this is painful for me to even think of.

Therefore, my wife, “Winona Grieger” and I started “Strong Native Minds.” On July 4, 2021, SNM made their first appearance in the native community. We continue to work out of our homes to improve, support, and help our native community.
